mstislavl предлагает мне выразить мое несогласие с некоторыми реалиями английской жизни в письме в газету "Таймс". Представил себе:
I am a bloody foreigner so I believe my opinion regarding your British plumbing must be of significant interest to your readers. And I have to admit that this opinion of mine is bloody far from favourable. In other words, I think your plumbing is utter rubbish, because I cannot imagine a sane person who would really enjoy washing his/her hands/feet under separate cold and hot taps--especially in a public place.
This is the reason why I have recently come up with a clinically proven solution of this problem. In a nutshell, I suggest the English stop producing this crap and start buying their sinks and taps in France. As for the existing plumbing devices, I suggest their use should be strictly forbidden as hazardous for one's health. Those who continue to utilise old taps should be subjected to heavy fines and/or immediate imprisonment.
I hope your readers will agree with my progressive views on the subject.
